High-purity PFA single cartridge filter housings
- High-purity PFA materials of construction provide the broadest available chemical compatibility and strongest mechanical properties with lowest possible extractables
- Accepts one 4 in. (10.2 cm) or 10 in. (25.4 cm) 222 O-ring SOE style cartridge
- 3/4 in. (1.91 cm) NPT and butt weld inlet and outlet connections available
- Standard 1/4 in. (0.64 cm) NPT upstream and downstream gauge connections
- Use with fluoropolymer cartridge for an all-fluoropolymer filtration system

This housing is not recommended for compressed air or gas service. It is suitable for use with fully compatible* liquids only. This housing is not recommended for acid service at the pressure shown. Please contact Pall for detailed compatibility information.

Recirculating Applications
Retention ratings, by convention, are for single pass applications. Many applications involve recirculating systems, where the filter media has several opportunities to capture contaminant. For example, in a 15.1 liter (4 gallon) system circulating at 7.6 lpm (2 gpm), the fluid passes through the filter cartridge five times in ten minutes. Thus, the effective retention of a filter cartridge is much finer. Specifically, a cartridge rated at 0.5 μm (nominal) on a single pass is often an effective 0.2 μm (nominal) filter on a recirculating basis.Multi-Pass

Unit conversion: 1 bar = 100KPa
Flow rate is for 25.4 cm (10 in.) housing without filter cartridge. For liquids other than water, multiply the pressure drop by the specific gravity of the fluid.
