The SUPRAdisc II 7007872 is designed for polishing filtration and microorganism reduction in beer with a low microbial load. This 12-inch (284 mm) module uses K 100 grade filter media, which is composed of cellulose, diatomaceous earth (DE), and perlite. It is also effective for polishing filtration of sugar syrups, enzyme solutions, and thick liquor gelatin. The advanced SUPRAdisc II construction offers superior mechanical stability and prevents the filter cells from touching, which allows for regeneration via backflushing. With a 1.8 m² filter area, this flat gasket module with silicone seals provides a reliable and enclosed alternative to traditional sheet filtration.
