Seitz AKS FB combines activated carbon with a homogeneous depth matrix to remove color bodies, off-aromas, and fine particulates simultaneously. The uniform carbon distribution supports consistent adsorption, while depth loading helps maintain flow with a predictable pressure rise. This configuration limits loose carbon handling and can streamline downstream polishing. The 400 x 400 plain-edge sheet fits compact presses used for craft batches and trials. Typical applications include wine and spirits components, juice and flavor polishing, and specialty ingredient cleanup. Within published limits, sheets can be hot-water or steam-sanitized and should be rinsed for a clean start-up and stable filtrate from the first minutes on line.
