Seitz K 100 is a versatile polishing grade for routine clarification of beverages and process liquids. The cellulose-mineral matrix combines surface filtration with depth adsorption to remove haze-forming particles while preserving throughput. Manufactured for homogeneity and controlled permeability, K 100 delivers reproducible filtrate quality and steady differential-pressure behavior from batch to batch. Common applications include wine and juice polishing, prefiltration ahead of final cartridges or membranes, and clarity control in flavorings and plant extracts. Sheets may be hot-water or steam-sanitized within standard limits and rinsed to achieve clean start-up. In a staged program, K 100 can follow coarser K 200 to K 700 grades and precede tighter KS or EK sheets to align capacity with clarity targets. The 400 x 400 mm format supports small plate-and-frame systems and change-friendly stacks in craft and pilot-scale operations.
